Two removable 600D Oxford fabric bags hold 24.34 gallons between them, enough to keep lights apart from darks, or the kids' wash apart from everyone else's, and each bag takes up to 11 pounds. Four wooden shelves sit above and below the bags for detergent, folded towels and the things that usually end up on top of the dryer; the top surface carries 66 pounds and each shelf 22 pounds. Four screw-mounted hooks along the side hang hampers, bags or a lint roller. The frame is black carbon steel that resists bending under a full load, and four adjustable feet level it on the uneven floors laundry rooms tend to have. It stands 61 inches tall on a 26.3 by 13 inch base, so it fits the narrow gap beside a washer.
