Big enough to anchor a full outdoor dining set, this 12 x 20 foot wood pergola gives a large patio or backyard the open, vine-covered structure of a vineyard without needing acres of land. The triple-level beam canopy on top leaves generous room for grapevines, morning glory, ivy, or passionflower to climb and fill in, building a natural leafy ceiling over a season or two. Posts and beams are cut from fir wood sealed with a protective paint finish, so the structure holds up to sun and rain as a permanent, year-round fixture rather than something you take down each fall. Expansion screws and metal L-plates anchor the base to concrete or another solid surface, keeping the frame steady even with a crowd gathered underneath for a cookout or garden party. Column spacing runs about 204.75 x 110.25 inches, and the overall footprint measures 240 x 144 x 88.5 inches. Assembly is required.
