Gray canopy over a cantilever arm, with an air vent at the crown that bleeds off wind pressure and a foot pedal that turns the whole 10-ft canopy without shifting the base. Rim height is 6.5 ft. The 40-in cross base takes four sandbags of 18.5 x 18 x 6.3 in, supplied empty and filled on site - which is what makes a 27.5-lb umbrella stand up to a breeze. Polyester, metal and PP form the structure. Gray is the most practical of the shades here on a poolside deck where splashes leave marks on pale fabric.
