Heavy springs link the seat to the frame rather than fixed hooks, and that is what produces the slow rocking motion a porch swing is bought for - rigid mountings give a jerk at each end of the travel. The weather-resistant steel frame carries 550 lbs across a 67 x 43.5 x 60.5 in footprint, seating three under a fabric canopy. Product weight is 46.8 lbs. Textile fiber and polyester make up the seat and shade. It suits a porch, a lawn or a deck where a bench alone would be too static.
