A castle-shaped toy organizer that solves the two problems most toy furniture ignores, namely where plush toys go and how a child finds a book again. Elastic ropes stretched across the frame hold stuffed animals in full view rather than burying them at the bottom of a bin, so a favorite is spotted and pulled free in one motion and put back just as fast. Books stay sorted on the open shelves, each of which is rated to carry 35 lb and sized around a 28-in by 15.5-in by 11.5-in compartment, and the shelves stay open on purpose so a small child sees the whole collection instead of digging blind. Fabric drawers with a 15-in by 13.5-in by 9-in interior slide into the frame for the loose pieces that never sort neatly, and they fold flat when the layout changes or the unit goes into storage.
