A 36-in by 24-in dry erase surface made from 4-mm tempered glass, which writes and wipes differently from a painted steel board: glass has no pores for ink to sink into, so ghosting does not build up over months of use and a dry cloth takes the surface back to blank. The glass also writes smoothly under a marker without the drag of a laminate face, and cleaning needs nothing more than the included eraser or a damp cloth. The panel is frameless with rounded corners, giving it a flat uninterrupted face and no plastic trim to yellow or crack. A galvanized metal backing makes the glass magnetic, and 4 strong magnets are supplied to hold charts and sheets flat against it. Mounting is flexible: the board hangs vertically or horizontally depending on the wall and the way it will be used, and a complete wall anchor kit is included that covers both drywall and stud fixing. Two hanging hooks come attached and can be removed if they are not wanted. A magnetic marker tray holds the 2 supplied markers and repositions anywhere on the surface rather than being fixed to one edge. At 36 in by 24 in and just 0.16 in thick, the board weighs 14 lbs. An eraser and a user manual are packed with the board to complete the set.
