Panoramic glass on three faces means this 60-inch insert can sit at the end of a peninsula wall or inside a room divider and still show the flame from both sides. Overall size is 60 by 7.8 by 17.3 inches, and the recommended opening runs 60.2 inches wide by 8.7 deep by 17.5 high, so recessed, wall-mounted and freestanding placements all work. Twelve flame colors and five brightness levels are set from a remote that reaches 20 feet. Output is 5000 BTU on 750 or 1500 watts, covering roughly 400 square feet, with the thermostat adjustable from 62 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Run the flame without heat and it becomes a light feature for the rest of the year.
