Twelve large squares cover ground quickly: at 24 by 24 inches each, this set lays out a 96-by-72-inch training floor with far fewer seams than small-tile flooring. The 0.5-inch EVA foam is thick enough to soften kettlebell drops and jump landings while still letting a rack or a bench sit level on top. A textured face keeps grip during planks, lunges and stretching, and the closed-cell foam wipes dry after a sweaty session. Fourteen border strips square off the exposed edges so the finished floor does not curl at the perimeter. Assembly is a hands-only job, and the 9-pound set breaks back down into a flat stack when the basement or garage needs to go back to being a basement or garage.
