Shutter doors with real louvers front this 23.5 by 12 by 31.5 inch floor cabinet, venting the enclosed section so towels and shower gel do not sit in trapped damp. The wide top holds 77 lbs, which covers a stack of folded bath sheets, a potted plant or a basket of magazines, and each interior shelf takes 22 lbs. P2 grade MDF is sealed with non-toxic waterproof NC paint, a finish chosen for wet rooms rather than dry bedrooms. Four sturdy legs hold the 26 lb cabinet steady and clear of pooled water. In brown it pairs with wood floors and reads warm in a room otherwise full of white porcelain and chrome. Open shelves at the top take plants or magazines while the shutter doors hide what you would rather not see.
