Folded, each bench drops to 4.5 in thick, which is what makes a 55 in seat storable behind a shed door or in a car boot for a campsite. Open, it stands 18.5 in high and 10 in deep, rated 800 lbs - park-bench strength in a folding frame. Acacia slats are oil-finished so they resist fading and cracking through a season outdoors, and the surface is smooth enough for bare legs. The pair weighs 37.5 lbs together. They pair with a folding table for a barbecue or serve as overflow seating at a family meal.
