A powder-coated metal frame with rounded corners is the practical choice above a basin - it does not rust in steam and there is no sharp corner at eye height. MDF backing survives a humid bathroom where cardboard backing would swell and lift. The glass measures 32 x 20 in within a 1.5 in deep frame, hanging portrait or landscape on a fixed pin. Golden metal reads as jewelry against tiling; black is the alternative. It weighs 15 lbs.
