This queen upholstered platform bed pairs a tufted velvet headboard with a metal support frame rated to 1000 lbs. Nine legs carry the load to the floor rather than loading the side rails, so the center of the deck holds firm under two adults. Threaded foot pads level the frame on an uneven floor and protect hardwood from scratches. Noise reduction foam sits at the metal joints to keep the frame from clicking when someone shifts. Plywood slats arrive pre-connected and unroll in one piece, holding a 10-in to 12-in mattress with no box spring required.
