Underneath the upholstery the structure is metal, not wood: powder-coated legs that are rustproof and resist deformation, tied together by a reinforced crossbar and a strong X-shaped structure, which together give each chair a 400-lb load rating. Adjustable foot pads at the base level the chairs on an uneven floor and protect the surface underneath. Each chair measures 20-in by 18-in by 30.5-in with a 19-in seat height that slides under a standard table, and the pair weighs 21.5 lb together, light enough to reposition without dragging.
