This wall-mounted table has no legs at all; two hinged boards fold down against the wall when not in use, shrinking the 31.5 by 23.5 by 17 inch table to just 3 inches deep. Fold down one leaf for a narrow shelf, or both for a full desk. A triangular wooden bracket carries the load, and metal hinges and screws anchor it to the wall; the surface is rated for 66 lbs, enough for a laptop, a stack of magazines or a breakfast for two. The boards are P2 MDF with pine wood in the frame, finished white with rounded edges and an odorless paint. At 17.6 lbs it mounts in a hallway, a studio apartment or a bathroom as a makeup ledge. Mounting hardware attaches to the wall; assembly required.
