Propped on the 2 included poles, the sidewalls swing out as an awning and stretch the covered ground from 10 ft by 9.2 ft to 14 ft by 9.2 ft, which is a real change in usable shade rather than a trim adjustment. Zipped down instead, the same panels close the sides for privacy or wind. Two height settings of 8.3 and 8.7 ft move the eave line between 5.6 and 6.1 ft. The oxford top with silver coating is rated UPF50+ and resists fading, tearing and light rain, though the canopy should come down before heavy weather. Raising it needs no tools, and the frame, canopy, 2 poles, 4 wind ropes and 8 ground stakes collapse into one carrying bag at 30 lbs.
