A play kitchen inside a playhouse gives children something to do rather than somewhere to sit. This one has a sink, a faucet and a rotating knob that makes a sound, with service windows front and back so one child can cook while another orders through the canopy. The outdoor double bench, rated to 110 lbs, gives the customers somewhere to wait. Natural fir wood with low-odor water-based paint stands up to weather, windows on all four sides keep it bright and supervisable, and the 67.5 by 57.5 by 61.4-in structure comfortably fits two children aged 3 to 8. Two adults can assemble it in about 120 minutes.
