Low and wide at 35 by 12 by 21 in, this cube unit doubles as a console beneath a window or behind a sofa. As a bookshelf with drawers it flanks a closed-back middle compartment with four open cubes, and a pull-out drawer measuring 9 by 9 by 3.5 in tidies away the small items that clutter open shelving. The tabletop alone carries 220 lbs with 330 lbs overall, and a cut-out handle with metal slides keeps the drawer easy to open.
