Contoured slats dish slightly under the seat so the bench cradles rather than sits flat, which makes a long dinner outdoors easier on the legs. Spaces between the boards drain rain and dry fast. Triangle corner blocks, crossbars and 1.8-inch legs push the load rating to 530 lbs on solid hardwood finished with oil. The 39.5-inch length suits an entry, a garden path or the foot of a dining table.
