Carved detailing across the cabinet fronts and a pronounced wood grain give this console a mid-century character that flat-panel units lack. Inside, cabinet shelves set to three positions and two removable central shelves offer seven heights, so tall receivers and short players both fit. Six metal legs raise it 5 inches off the floor.
