Folded down, this twin frame drops to 30 by 6.5 by 39.5 inches, slim enough to slide into a closet or behind a sofa between guest visits. Set up, powder-coated metal slats and six reinforced legs carry a 485 lbs load, with a triangular brace under the middle to stop flexing. Arched headboard and footboard panels give the frame a finished look rather than a temporary one, and 9 inches of clearance underneath stores boxes and shoes.
