Cork panelling behind the desktop gives a child somewhere to pin artwork, a timetable, or reminders, which a plain hutch cannot do. Storage runs deep here: a top shelf, open compartments, a drawer on metal slides, and a closed cabinet. The chair reclines to 100 degrees with rounded edges throughout, and the desktop sits 26 inches high.
