Folding flat is the point here: two steps open to 10.24 inches for a sofa or low bed, then collapse to slide behind furniture or into a car footwell. Pine boards secured with large screws support pets up to 110 pounds, and felt-covered treads give paws grip on each 4.72 inch rise. At 5.95 pounds the stairs travel easily between home and vehicle.
