Shelving that hides something is the whole idea. This cabinet reads as an open display piece, yet the enclosed lower half gives a cat a private room with a winding entry that keeps odors and stray litter where they belong. Above it, shelves and a broad top take plants, baskets, or a stack of books, so the corner earns its keep in a bedroom or a hallway.
