Raised edges around each shelf are the detail that keeps a bottle from walking off the back when somebody bumps the frame. Three of those shelves stack above the toilet, hooks run down both uprights for towels and brushes, and an X-brace across the rear stops the whole thing swaying when it is fully loaded.
